Affirming Your InterConnectedness
Sense yourself sitting at the center of your universe, surrounded by all living beings.  Reach up, touch your heart, and clarify your intention for this new and precious day. As your heart’s deepest aspiration grows clearer, sense that it radiates out from your heart like the light of a shining sun.  Allow your heart to come into resonance with all beings who share your aspiration or whose hearts resonate in sympathy with your own.  Envision the vast network of interconnections that your heart’s prayer connects you with. Reach out with your hands-heart-mind and invoke those who are sources of blessings and inspirations for you and affirm your connection with their wisdom, love, energy, and blessings in your life.  With your breath receive the inspiration you need to awaken to your True Nature & Highest Potentials and radiate your loving support to others that it may be received in whatever ways will be most helpful to support all others in awakening to their True Nature and Highest Potenials.  Remember that you practice with and for all living beings!

Cultivating Mindful Clear Presence

Mindfully rest within the flow of every changing moment to moment experience

Be mindful of how the waves of the breath come and flow…

Let this be your resting place and anchor of awareness.

Mindfully notice how external perceptions come and flow from the world around you…

Mindfully attend to how sensations come and flow through your body…

As thoughts or mental images arise be mindful of how they arise, abide, and pass…

As emotions come to your awareness, be mindful of the arising and passing of feelings…

As desires or intentions or other mindstates arise, be mindful of how they come and flow…

Rest in Clear Presence, Vast as the Sky, open to the arising and passing of all experience…

“Tong Len” ~ The Practice of Taking & Sending
Allow mindfulness to bring to your awareness any suffering or seeds of suffering within you.

Gently with your breath draw those energies into you heart and allow them to be completely transformed and to open your heart to radiate a deep compassion within you back to where those sufferings came from.  Breathing in Agitation, allow it to be transformed in your heart and breathe out Peace…. Breathing in Fear, allow it to be transformed into Courage or Fearlessness…whatever the compassionate healing response would be, allow that to flow from the opening of your heart.  As you touch your sufferings, or the potentials for sufferings within you in the future…then allow your heart to open to touch those same sufferings in others.  And as you breathe, receive the energies of those sufferings into your heart, allow them to be completely transformed, and allow your deepest compassion to flow out to them and into the world to bring healing to your larger body.

In the first moment that you are Awake-that-you-are-Awake

Reach up and touch your heart…

Be mindful of the flow of your breath…

Flowing in…. Flowing out…

Be mindful of your heart beating )) )) ))

Be mindful of your hand touching your heart…

 

Within this flow of mindful presence
Listen deeply into what your hearts deepest wish,
prayer or aspiration is for this precious day and
Clarify this intention… Light a candle to it if you like…
Dedicate yourself to “living on purpose” and staying true to
your deepest intention for this day
and carry this intention into action
as you go about the flow of moments and actions of this day.

Frequently throughout your day
